Programming

The Tonopah Convention Center has two separate programming spaces in addition to the Main Hall where fan tables and convention hospitality and parties are planned.. We also have reserved the 150-seat ballroom above the Mizpah Club (adjacent to the Mizpah Hotel). The Convention Center rooms are fully equipped with hookups for built-in data projectors with screens and the necessary cables for connecting devices (with no additional charges for doing so), and there is complimentary wi-fi throughout the building. We will use the 50-seat Blue Room for hybrid/remote programming to allow non-attending members and panelists to participate in some programming remotely during the convention. The 30-seat Gold Room will also be used for in-person programming. We will use the Nevada Club meeting room at the Belvada Hotel and the Safe Room (a small lounge in what was originally the safe of the Nevada State Bank & Trust) also in the Belvada, for Kaffeklatches. We also will use the conference room at the Mizpah Hotel for gaming (tabletop and RPG, not the casino type!).

Virtual (only-only) programming will start at 8 AM on each day of the convention. At-Convention programming will start at 11 AM on Friday, July 1 and continue through the late afternoon of Monday, July 4, with Hospitality open until late Monday night. Our in-person and online-only program schedules are online.

Information about confirmed participants in our virtual programming and in-person programming is also online. All schedules and appearances are subject to change.

Planned in-person events include:
