San Francisco Science Fiction Conventions, Inc. is a California non-profit public benefit corporation recognized as a tax-exempt charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. SFSFC organizes events to promote the education and understanding of science fiction and fantasy art and literature in all of its forms. SFSFC operated the 1993, 2002, and 2018 World Science Fiction Conventions, the 2000, 2011, and 2013 Westercons, the 1998 and 2009 World Fantasy Conventions, and other SF/F-genre conventions. The corporation has operated conventions in California, Hawaii, Louisiana, and Nevada, and has provided support for conventions in Canada, New Zealand, and Great Britain. Its directors live in California, Nevada, Arizona, and Great Britain.
