Enjoy the history of Tonopah by touring the Tonopah Historic Mining Park.
There are self-guided and guided tours available. Admission to the park for self-guided walking tours will be free over the 4th of July weekend, although you need to check in at the Visitor Center (and pick up a free map) before visiting the rest of the park.
Guided tours on the park’s Polaris all-terrain vehicles require advance reservation. The only way to schedule and get prices for tours is by phone ONLY at (775) 482-9274. The mining park is open seven days a week (except that they will be closed on July 4th) and they are very good at checking voice mails.
To get more information on the Tonopah Historic Mining Park tours check out the Tonopah Historic Mining Park brochure by clicking on the link to the Tonopah Historic Mining Park website.
Schedule guided tours as soon as possible since Tonopah will have other tourists visiting other than Westercon 74 attendees over the 4th of July weekend.
